THE LEGEND

Her father locked her in a tower of bronze so that no man would ever reach her. But desire is older than walls: Zeus came to Danaë as a rain of gold, falling softly through the ceiling of her prison. Titian painted it; Klimt gilded it. It remains art's most beautiful answer to every door ever closed.

THE PIECE

A corset of gold, its surface blooming with hand-made flowers and satin half-blossoms gathered at the side — drops of that golden rain, caught mid-fall and stitched in place. Warm, radiant, unashamedly opulent, every element shaped and sewn by hand. DANAË is proof that what is meant to reach you, will.

Each corset is embroidered entirely OVER 105 HOURS OF HANDWORK at the frame. Please allow 3-5 weeks for your piece to be created. Crafted exclusively for you.

How to Measure

Bust

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it level across your back and parallel to the floor. The tape should be snug but not compressing—you should be able to slide two fingers underneath.

ⓘ Measure while wearing your usual bra, or the bra you plan to wear under the corset.

Natural Waist

Find the narrowest point of your torso—usually 2–3 cm above your navel. Bend gently to one side: the crease that forms is your natural waist. Wrap the tape around this point.

⚠ For corsets, always use the natural waist—not the hip bone or the waistband of your trousers.

Hips

Stand with your feet together. Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your hips and seat—typically 18–23 cm below your natural waist. Keep the tape parallel to the floor.

ⓘ Move the tape up and down slightly to find the widest point—this is what matters, not a fixed distance from the waist.

Material: brocade in warm gold with woven floral jacquard motifs in rose, sage and ivory, rose silk satin, boning in individual casings, beadwork emboridery, pearl drops, siquins, OVER 105 HOURS OF HANDWORK.

Care: Dry clean only.
