THE LEGEND

In Camelot, the finest knight in the world broke every oath he had ever sworn — for her. Guinevere was the still point around which the whole legend turned: courts, quests and round tables, all orbiting one woman in velvet. Kingdoms are built on many things. This one fell for love.

THE PIECE

Soft rose velvet, edged in white ruffle like a page from an illuminated manuscript — mediaeval in spirit, modern in cut. The velvet is shaped by hand over a sculpted base; the ruffle is gathered and set stitch by stitch. Tender on the surface, unbending underneath: GUINEVERE, like its queen, is gentler to look at than to resist.

How to Measure

Bust

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it level across your back and parallel to the floor. The tape should be snug but not compressing—you should be able to slide two fingers underneath.

ⓘ Measure while wearing your usual bra, or the bra you plan to wear under the corset.

Natural Waist

Find the narrowest point of your torso—usually 2–3 cm above your navel. Bend gently to one side: the crease that forms is your natural waist. Wrap the tape around this point.

⚠ For corsets, always use the natural waist—not the hip bone or the waistband of your trousers.

Hips

Stand with your feet together. Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your hips and seat—typically 18–23 cm below your natural waist. Keep the tape parallel to the floor.

ⓘ Move the tape up and down slightly to find the widest point—this is what matters, not a fixed distance from the waist.
