THE LEGEND

THE PIECE

A black corseted gown armoured in craft: hand-braided cords descend the sides like a warrior's plaits, while sculpted appliqués rest on the arms like shields, each element built and stitched by hand. Severe, magnetic, unyielding. PENTHESILEA is for the woman who has never once needed to be rescued.

Each corset is embroidered entirely OVER 200 HOURS OF HANDWORK at the frame. Please allow 3-5 weeks for your piece to be created. Crafted exclusively for you.

How to Measure

Bust

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it level across your back and parallel to the floor. The tape should be snug but not compressing—you should be able to slide two fingers underneath.

ⓘ Measure while wearing your usual bra, or the bra you plan to wear under the corset.

Natural Waist

Find the narrowest point of your torso—usually 2–3 cm above your navel. Bend gently to one side: the crease that forms is your natural waist. Wrap the tape around this point.

⚠ For corsets, always use the natural waist—not the hip bone or the waistband of your trousers.

Hips

Stand with your feet together. Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your hips and seat—typically 18–23 cm below your natural waist. Keep the tape parallel to the floor.

ⓘ Move the tape up and down slightly to find the widest point—this is what matters, not a fixed distance from the waist.

Material: Italian lace, 12 spiral bones, cotton, tulle, embroidered lace sleeves, 4,000 beads, metallic threadwork, OVER 200 HOURS OF HANDWORK.
